About our Service and why you should be on it.

We support Internet connections to our service with Windows NT and Windows 95/98.  Many Apple, Unix, and OS2 users do use our service but we do not have techs on staff for those operating systems.  We no longer sell services to users of Windows 3.1.  

We use high speed Internet T1 lines connected to AT&T and Sprint for our Internet Feeds.  Our gateway router is a Cisco 3640 router with 128 MB RAM and we use BGP routing protocol to provide the shortest number of router hops.  By being multi-homed with a connection to both AT&T and Sprint it protects our service should one or the other go down.

We never oversell our bandwidth and almost weekly we sign up ISDN customers who were using other services and they often report as to how fast we continue to be even during peak use times.

Our dialup access Servers are Shiva (now Intel) LanRover Access Switches which provide some of the fastest service under a heavy load.

We provide our subscribers connections to the Internet by modem dialup, ISDN dialup, Frame Relay, or Point to Point T1.  We expect to add DSL to this list in December 1999.

We use Microsoft Windows NT as our server operating system and we use MS Information Server and O'Reilly Website Pro for our Webserver software.

We have community forums, IRC chatrooms, a full feed of Newgroups, E-commerce, Weather, Real Estate, and much, much, more.

We provide Microsoft FrontPage 2000 extensions on our websites and because of security risks of FTP we only allow FrontPage publishing or Windows Networking connections to our customer's websites.
