Multi-Link PPP is a special dialup account that permits subscribers who are using computers running Windows XP, 2000, or NT to connect two modems to their computers and connect those modems to two different phone lines, allowing them to establish a dual 56K* connection to our service as to double your analog modem speed. 

* FCC regulations limits 56K connections to 53K.  Not all phone lines will support 53K.  To obtain 53K times two using Multi-Link PPP your phone lines can not have more than one digital to analog connection.  Of course there is no way for you to know how your phone company has your phone lines connected into their system but Multi-Link will work in 56K mode or 33.6 mode and the use of Multi-Link will normally double your connection speed.
