*RPC over http requires Outlook 2003.  Outlook 2002 or older will only make RPC connections over port 135.  Some ISPs block port 135 on non business accounts.  Your ISP may not permit a port 135 connection when using Outlook 2002 or older.  You can upgrade to Outlook 2003 and establish a connection using RPC over http.

Above mailboxes are @arkansasusa.net addresses.  Your domain mailboxes are also available.  DNS hosting for your domain name is $5 per month.  We will file your domain and renew it for free. (Free Offer does not apply for existing registered domain names.)

FAQ

Q - I have a domain name that hosts my website.  Can your company host my email?

A - Yes.  Your DNS record must be modified by your DNS hosting company to point your MX record to our Exchange server, or for $5 per month we can host your DNS for you and point your A record to you Web hosting company.

Q - Can I use a Pocket PC to send and receive email?

A - Any device that supports xHTML iMODE, cHTML or HTML and has access to the Internet can access your exchange server account using Outlook Mobile Access.  A growing number of smart phones, pocket PCs, and PDAs can send and receive email using an exchange mail account.

Q - I have a free email now, what would an Exchange email offer me?

A - On line storage of email, full access to an on-line calendar, contact list, and task lists.  You can setup filters so when certain emails arrive, they can be forwarded to other accounts such as a text message cell phone or pager.  The possibilities are almost endless.

Q - Can I send commercial non solicited emails with my Exchange Email account?

A - No.  Our Exchange Email accounts can not be used for SPAM.  You can use the account for commercial business but it can not be used to send unsolicited email.  We reserve the right to charge a fee should unsolicited emails be sent.

Q - If my ISP blocks port 135 will Outlook work with your service?

A - Outlook 2002 and older versions require port 135 to be open between your computer and our server.  We permit port 135 connections but some ISPs block port 135 from entering or leaving their network.  If your ISP blocks port 135 and you wish to use Outlook then you must upgrade to Outlook 2003 and use the RPC over http connection option in Outlook 2003.  Outlook 2003 supports RPC over http only on XP running Service pack 1 or greater.   A block on port 135 does not prevent a connection using Outlook Web Access or Outlook Mobile Access.

Q - I am new to Exchange, what is Outlook Web Access?

A - Exchange provides Web access to an Exchange mailbox that looks very much like Outlook.  To use OWA, one needs Internet access and a Web Browser.  By going to a URL you will be presented a login and once you are logged in, the Outlook Web Access application will be presented.  You have most of the same features available in OWA that you have in Outlook.

Q - What is Outlook Mobile Access?

A - Outlook Mobile Access is a trimmed down text only version of Outlook Web Access that will run over the browsers of most hand held pocket PCs and smartphones.  Any Internet connected device that has a supported web browser and an Exchange mailbox can go to our Outlook Mobile Access URL and login and use this text based version of Outlook to read, reply, and create new emails, have access to their Outlook Calendar and contact lists.  By using Microsoft's Activesync software (downloadable from the MS website), you can use the Outlook that is part of the Windows CE operating system.  Most cell phone service providers support Activesync connections over their cellular network.  (Your smartphone and cell provider must support Activesync.)

Q - What is an Exchange Distribution Group

A - A Distribution group is an email address that distributes the email it receives to group members.  For example sales@mydomain.com can be established as a distribution group and anyone who is a member of the group will receive a copy of emails that are sent to sales@.
